ERSS Ltd is moving away from relying on Google reviews.
Since establishing our company in 2019, feedback on Google Business has been immensely beneficial.
However, recently, like many other companies, we have received poor feedback from unscrupulous individuals offering services to artificially enhance our profile and supply 5-star rating for a fee.
We are a company proud of our reputation and do not acquiesce to those who seek to fraudulently provide services for businesses that do not merit such recognition.
We have received a -1 star review from an anonymous individual who has neither contacted us nor is recognised as a client.
Google have done nothing to prevent this or investigate this any further since the claim.
Why would they when we are just a small company?
Such incidents are becoming increasingly common on Google, where the company’s Gmail was hacked (locked out) by those attempting to profit from and manipulate.
Over the past six months, we have discontinued requesting Google reviews and instead encouraged feedback through Trustpilot, a widely recognised platform with better security measures.
